I am truly blessed, really I can never say that life has not been good to me. I work for one of my favorite photographers and his not only my boss but a mentor. Graduating from art school was like getting out of boot camp and dump in a war zone. Everything I know was wrong and if I wanted to survive, well I had to adapted. I am still here… so things can’t be that bad. Last week I got a phone call from a great friend, offering me a chance to assist another one of my idols. ”I would you like to assist Hedi Slimane and take one of your best friends with you” ( the always willing and ready sister, Jordana). Standing outside the studio at 6 in the morning, I wonder what kind of person he would be. As he came out of european car, this humble hip dressed man approached me. ”Hello, I am Hedi”, and the rest of the day was just as good. The dude is a beast, he shots and shots and just doesn’t stop. Thank god for my education with Frank, from the start I was talked to as if I had been part of the crew. Left to handle matters of a first, but I held my own. At the end he said ” Thank you for helping me in this amazing project”. Done!, this is going to be a great year.

“She ran through me like a hot knife through…”

Sat was the first time I worked this year, I miss being on set. Even though we shoot at Blair’s house, it still felt like a job. Frank talk to us about all the changes in the company and what needed to be done. So as I drove off still in pain… I headed to Tustin to get some more pain and ink… This year is going to change everything. I didn’t even get to use my plan B or C, which included everything from Bartending, lab assistant to working admissions at a college. What I do know is that whatever I do this year… I am going to make money.
